2 Day Course – 25th & 26th August

Students will be introduced to the different leathers available to period craftsmen and will then make a leather sampler. The sampler will demonstrate decorative pinking as well as construction techniques used for seams, edges and buttonholes on doublets, jerkins, breeches and hose. There will be both surviving and recreated leather clothes in the classroom for close examination.
