2 Day Course – 28th & 29th October

Students will be introduced to the different leathers available to period craftsmen and will make a purse and a leather sampler that will include the construction techniques used for seams, edgings and buttonholes on such garments as gloves, doublets, jerkins and breeches/hose. There will be both surviving and recreated objects relating to leatherwork in the classroom for close examination.
