BIBA: THE CONTENT, CUT, CONSTRUCTION & CONTEXT OF BIBA GARMENTS 1968-73 – 12th SEPTEMBER 2024
1-Day Course Thursday 12TH SEPTEMBER 10am – 6pm
Our course will focus on aspects of Biba garments and accessories c.1968–1973 using examples from our School Collection, together with contemporary paper patterns featuring the iconic ‘L’ shaped Biba bust darts, balloon sleeve silhouettes and distinctive style details that inspired a generation of young women.
This one-day course will take place in the the saleroom and exhibition space at Kerry Taylor Auctions during the viewing week coinciding with an online auction of a significant private collection of Biba garments.
