This publication is the new edition of the third volume from the original ‘Patterns of Fashion’ series.  Patterns of Fashion 3 has 166 pages, with full colour images of the garments and scale patterns in colour, 7 of which have been added to this edition, and a revised introduction. The scale patterns include 18 doublets, 3 jerkins, 9 hose, 7 cloaks, 3 pair of sleeves, 2 foreparts, 12 gowns, 2 petticoats, 2 waistcoats, 1 lap mantle, 1 kirtle and 7 hats.  All these patterns are presented on a grid for measurements to be taken from them by imperial and metric systems. A scale measuring card is included in each package with the book/s ordered.

This book is recommended for all those with an interest in historical dress, including students of costume for theatre, film and television, museum curators and conservators, living history interpreters, and academics studying 16th and early 17th century dress worn in the western world.
