Description
This course takes a practical approach to the cut and construction of the 18th and 19th century tailored garments, focusing on the cut and construction of the changing fashionable styles.
There will be extant examples of coats, waistcoats, breeches and trousers from the School collection available for detailed study, including several suits.
Participants will make an early 19th century coat sampler using period-appropriate textiles and layers.
